Makes 3/4 cup
Ingredients
½ cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 garlic clove
Black pepper
2–3 dates, pitted
Juice of 1–2 lemons
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons tamari
About ½ cup water
Fine sea salt to taste
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into paste in food processor or blender.
Note: Add canned chickpeas to make homemade hummus. To make a tahini dressing, add more lemon juice.
